This standard is for GB / T 2992-1982 "General Refractory Brick Shape and Size", GB / T 1590-1979 "Magnesia Brick and Magnesia Silicon Brick Shape and Size" and GB / T 2074-1980 "For Copper Furnace "Magnesia chrome brick shape and size" revision, merged into a standard.
This standard is not equivalent to the international standard ISO 5019-1: 1984 "Refractory Brick-Dimensions-Part 1: Straight Bricks"; ISO 5019-2: 1984 "Refractory Brick-Dimensions-Part 2: Wedge Bricks"; ISO 5019 -5: 1984 "Refractory Bricks-Dimensions-Part V: Arching Bricks". In addition to the 230mm and 345mm of international standards, the length of bricks in this standard also retains 300mm, 380mm and 460mm of China, and the width of bricks is 114mm and 150mm of international standards. The thickness of the brick remains 65mm and 75mm.
This standard has made the following amendments to the above three original standards:
——The name and main size parameters of the bricks are defined in words, and shown in the drawings or formulas.
——The brick number has been modified and the code name has been cancelled.
——The calculation method in the appendix of the original standard has been simplified and improved, and rewritten as appendix A.
—— Added vertical thick wedge-shaped bricks and straight bricks with the size of 75mm and other middle refractory bricks.
——The size of the refractory bricks with arches of 230mm, 300mm and 460mm on the inclined surface has been modified. The standard inclination angle is 60 ° / 30 ° and 50 ° / ° 40.
—— Delete non-universal special-shaped refractory bricks.
This standard shall replace GB / T 2992-1982, GB / T 1590-1979, GB / T 2074-1980 from the date of implementation.
Appendix A of this standard is a standard appendix.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the definition, brick number, specification notation, size and size parameters of general refractory bricks.
This standard applies to brick lining of thermal equipment such as industrial furnaces
2. Definition
This standard uses the following definition
2.1 General refractory bricks: refers to straight bricks used in straight wall brick laying and radial bricklaying of thermal furnaces such as industrial furnaces and kilns.
2.1.1 Straight brick: straight parallelepiped brick with length b, width a and thickness c, see Figure 1
2.1.2 Side thick wedge-shaped refractory bricks (referred to as side wedge-shaped bricks): the distance b between the large and small ends is designed in the width, and the size of the large and small ends a is large / a small is shown in the figure:
2.1.3. Vertical thick wedge bricks (referred to as vertical wedge bricks :) The distance b between the small and large ends is designed in length, and the size of the large and small ends is a large / small is designed in the thickness of the wedge bricks, see Figure 3:
2.1.4 Vertical and wide wedge bricks (abbreviated as wide wedge bricks): Wedge bricks with distance b at the large end designed in length and large a / a small at the end, see Figure 4
2.1.5. Arch foot refractory bricks: less than the load-bearing seat bricks on both sides of the semicircular vault brickwork, see Figure 5.

3. Brick number and specification notation
3.1. Brick number T is the prefix of the common brick Chinese pinyin, followed by the short horizontal line is the sequence number.
3.2 Specification notation:
3.2.1 The specifications of straight refractory bricks are expressed in b × a × c.
3.2.2 The specification of wedge-shaped refractory brick is expressed by b × (a large / a small) × c.
3.2.3 The dimensions of the arch foot refractory brick are expressed by L × a × c.
4. Dimension and size parameters of refractory brick
4.1 The brick number, size, specifications and size parameters of straight bricks (see Figure 1) shall be as specified in Table 1.
4.2 The brick number, size, specifications and dimensional parameters of the side-thick wedge bricks (see Figure 2) shall be as specified in Table 2.
4.3 The brick number, size, specifications and dimensional parameters of vertical thick wedge row bricks (see Figure 3) shall be as specified in Table 3.
4.4 The brick number, size, specifications and dimensional parameters of vertical wide wedge bricks (see Figure 4) shall be as specified in Table 4.
4.5 The brick number, size, specifications and dimensional parameters of arch foot bricks (see Figure 5) shall be as specified in Table 5.
